RohoPay Raises Series A to Expand Across Africa

We're excited to announce that RohoPay has raised $12 million in Series A funding led by Pan-African Ventures, with participation from existing investors and new strategic partners. This brings our total funding to $18 million.

The investment will fuel our expansion into new markets across West and Southern Africa. We're opening engineering hubs in Lagos and Cape Town, and growing our team from 35 to 70 people over the next 12 months.

Our product roadmap includes support for additional payment methods, a new analytics platform, and expanded payout capabilities. We'll also invest heavily in our developer platform and documentation.

Since launching in 2025, we've processed over $50 million in transaction volume for thousands of merchants across Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania. This funding validates our approach and accelerates our mission.
